Public Safety Certificate

The VCAL students are lucky enough to complete the certificate in Public Safety through Magenta training. They are enjoying all aspects of the course including looking at the firefighting operations and the different types of wildlife in Australia and how to look after them.
Below are some of the photos taken during their practical assessment of using a fireman's hose. The students and teachers got involved in the activities. They found it interesting on how to hold the hose the appropriate way and when it was on full water pressure how the students struggle to hold onto the hose and to turn it off.
